The Job Hunt audit, as intake.

Clicked http://127.0.0.1:8765/ at 390 and 1280, storage cleared, then Claybrook Load sent. This page is Take Lunch feedback: what should have been typed into the first intake form, what the prompt compiler actually used, and the leftover fails that still cost Saturdays.

End product = a hunter copies a kit they would send, in one sitting. Take Lunch gets there sooner when intake captures the spec, and buildPrompt does not throw the spec away.

The leftover that still costs a Saturday

Google HM email is a fragment. Letter has two filled verbs. 1280 has two dump doors.

Reaching out on Data Center Business Program Manager at Google. At AT&T, another $7 million a year. I'm in Tulsa, OK. Got 15 minutes?

Nic would not say that. The master line has a verb: split software issues from chronic escalations. The cut dropped it. content-audit does not fail it. Meanwhile 390 Letter fills Rewrite in my voice and Copy packet. 1280 Today shows Dump a listing and rail Add a job. Jobs For you painted Hustler Marketing in Madrid.

What should have been entered

Filled as if Nic completed today’s Take Lunch intake.html from the 18-page house questionnaire and from the house that actually shipped. Gray answers are what the field would have held. Red in the table below is what the compiler never saw.

You

The Job Hunt — a private hunt file, not a shop
(none at intake. Later: https://notoriousfootball.com/the-job-hunt/)

The spec

Paste a listing (or a URL). Ask me what is not on the resume. Cut a NEW resume for that job from a master file. Letter is email I copy. Hiring-manager email with one proof and three subjects. CRM: Prospect → Build kit → Applied → Interview → Offer. Today = one next verb. Nothing sends. Not a website. Not a map. Not an invoice. Not Oak & Haul.
A copy-ready kit for THIS listing: ATS resume + interview paper, letter, HM email, 3 subjects, DM, 60-second. I hold it. I paste it. Nothing sends.

You (the owner)

Coaching people, owning a number, process, leadership. Writing a letter I would actually send out loud.
The house applying for me. Sending email. Inventing titles, employers, or dollars. A shop template. Two generic resumes. Tag-soup headlines. Fragments in the HM email.
There is no shop customer. The miss is Saturday: dump → kit in under 12 minutes on an iPhone, and two jobs produce two different proofs a stranger can tell apart in 10 seconds — including the HM email.

Your customer

Me. The hunter. Not a hiring manager. Not a shop.
I already have the life. I dump listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, a paste.
I copied a packet I would send, marked I applied, and I know Friday’s follow-up. We still do not send.

Look

Yes — use ours. Don’t invent a logo. Name on the page. Not cream desk.
Teal #0f766e look-here. Coral prospect. Cool stone, IBM Plex. 1280 sticky rail.
None. No invented mark.

Build what I wrote

☑ Build exactly that — do not copy Oak & Haul, Harbor Street, or a map/invoice template ☑ A bit like a job-hunt kit (paste listing → questions → letter) ☐ booking page ☐ today’s jobs (stops) ☐ café register ☐ ads ☐ board report

Gaps

Open phone. Wizard if first time, or Load sent if last name is Claybrook. Today = one verb. Dump a listing or copy the kit. Gaps before kit. Two resumes must differ. Unknown employer (BOK) is a bank, not manufacturing.
Just me. Phone first. 1280 is the same system, not a phone column on a monitor.
There is no stranger customer. First hunter action: name on the wizard, or Load sent with last name Claybrook. Not username + password as the first verb.
See today’s one verb. Copy it.
Gmail (I paste). Greenhouse (I fill). LinkedIn. Keep them. Do not replace with Send.
No auto-send. No map. No invoice. No Book. No public shop. No invented logo. Do not touch Claybrook, Pylon, or Slab Co internals. Do not treat the Take Lunch wrapper as the spec. FILE tab, Georgia, cream desk, fourth mystery nav, phone column on a monitor. Do not fill two copy verbs. Do not put Dump and Add a job as two primaries.
A private file. Ultra modern. Cool stone. Sticky rail at 1280. Color means look-here / ready / blocked.
Oak & Haul. Harbor Street. A career-influencer product. Generic SaaS. Cream scrapbook. A phone column in the center of a monitor.
The 18-page questionnaire is the spec. Voice: every artifact must be sayable out loud. content-audit.html is a permanent gate. Cash floor $120,000. A-list: Director of Operations. Side businesses in writing. Primary device is iPhone. Copy, never send.

What buildHuntPrompt actually kept

Today, hunt houses treat intake as “flavor, not a shop rewrite.” Isolation stays. Most of the form is discarded. That is why a complete intake still would not have prevented this click’s leftovers.

Questions the form never asked — and this click still fails

1. House kind

First question is “Shop or project name.” A hunt file then has to fight shop defaults. Kind must be first: shop / hunt file / eval / other. Hunt must not see map, invoice, Book, or “today’s jobs.”

2. Artifact quality, not only artifact name

Intake asks what they hold. It does not ask: would they say it out loud? Do two artifacts tell apart in 10 seconds? One filled copy verb? Those are this click’s Voice 7 and UI 6.

3. Fail-any as fields, not a textarea

must_not is optional until gaps. Hunt defaults only ban map / invoice / Book. They never ban two dump doors, two filled CTAs, fragment HM emails, or a search board in Madrid.

4. First hunter action

Questionnaire: wizard, or Load sent with last name Claybrook. This click: username + password. Intake never asked “how do you open it the second time?” so the builder invented an auth gate.

5. Permanent test

content-audit.html exists because Voice kept passing the pipeline and failing a read-aloud. Intake has no field for “the test that must fail the last miss.” The compiler cannot generate a gate it was never told about.

6. Compiler drop

Even a perfect hunt intake would still lose artifact, love, never, miss, busy, first_stranger, first_owner, tools, customer_done. buildHuntPrompt hardcodes seven doors and calls intake flavor. That is the Take Lunch bug, not the hunter’s.

Plan — fill the intake → prompt gaps

Specific criteria. Full scope: Take Lunch intake, prompt compiler, audit kit, desk, and the hunt house that proved the miss. Do not implement hunt leftovers from this page; this page is the spec for Take Lunch so the next house does not spend a month recovering the questionnaire.

Done-when for this plan

A new hunt (or shop) fills intake once. Write PROMPT.md. A builder who was not in the room ships the named artifact without a second 18-page PDF. An auditor’s first click includes the last miss and unknown input. Leftover fails from this Job Hunt click are intake questions and compiler rules, not tribal knowledge.

A. Intake form — criteria

  1. Kind first. Required select: Shop · Hunt file · Eval / board report · Other. Hunt hides site / crm / pos / map examples. Shop hides resume-kit examples. Other keeps synopsis as the only spec.
  2. Musts in the first half, not only gaps. Hunt musts: artifact (copy-ready kit), never-send, two-proof test, one dump door, one filled copy verb, primary device, cash floor, A-list titles (≤3), must-not. Shop musts: artifact, customer, first_stranger, first_owner, must_not.
  3. Artifact quality. After “what do you hold,” ask: “A stranger has 10 seconds. What must they know?” and “Would you say this out loud?” Those two strings become CX and Voice 10 bars.
  4. Fail-any chips, not only a textarea. Hunt defaults checked: no send, no map, no invoice, no Book, no invented logo, no second dump door, no second filled copy verb, no shop homepage. Shop defaults: no extra door they did not pay for. Free-text still allowed.
  5. Open-again. “Second visit starts at…” Wizard · Load sent (challenge word) · Username/password · Other. If they did not ask for auth, PROMPT.md forbids a login gate as the first screen.
  6. Unknown input. Required example that is not the seed. Hunt default: “BOK Financial — credit. Industry is the company, not a negated word.” Shop default: a stop/ticket not in the demo.
  7. Permanent test. Optional URL or “generate content-audit.html from the ban list + two named artifacts.” If they checked “say it out loud,” the compiler must emit the test.
  8. Do not ask shop questions of a hunt. “Who pays you” on a hunt file produced “Me.” Keep it, but label it hunter, not customer.

B. Prompt compiler — criteria (machine.js)

  1. No silent drop. Every non-empty intake field appears in PROMPT.md, or the compiler writes DROPPED (reason). Hunt path may not call intake “flavor.”
  2. Synopsis is the spec until kind-specific doors are generated from it. Hardcoded seven hunt doors stay as a fallback only when synopsis is empty. If synopsis exists, doorsPaid starts with that paragraph, then adds only doors the want[] / kind require.
  3. Owner 10 bar from intake, not from isHuntHouse(). CX = artifact + 10-second line. UX = first_stranger / first_owner / open-again. UI = “the label is the action” + one filled copy verb if they said copy. Appearance = like_feel + fail-any chips + 390 and 1280.
  4. Voice is a fifth bar when they said say-it-out-loud or never-send copy. Done-when: named artifacts quoted; ban list from never + else; two kits tell apart in the proof, not only the title.
  5. Cream paper is not the hunt default. Branding yes + hex / like_feel wins. “Name on cream paper” only if they asked for paper/cream or branding is no and like_feel is empty.
  6. Last miss in, not only isolation miss. If AUDIT.md exists, ## For the builder is prepended. New houses get unknown input + artifact click, not only “no map.”
  7. Shop path stays shop. Do not inject hunt wizard / resume / pipeline into a café. Do not inject map / invoice into a hunt. Kind is the switch, not a regex after the fact.

C. Audit kit — criteria

  1. Click path is generated from intake: first action, artifact, unknown input, last miss, 390 and 1280.
  2. Hunt last-miss class includes Voice (read-aloud + content-audit) and UI (one filled copy verb, one dump door), not only “two resumes” and “no map.”
  3. If content-audit.html exists, the auditor must open it and quote. 0 fail is necessary, not sufficient.
  4. Auditor still never edits AUDIT-PROMPT.md. Regenerating the kit after LOOP/PROMPT change stays law.

D. Desk — criteria

  1. Hunt card shows reconstructed intake (this page’s form-preview) next to Write PROMPT.md, not a 180-character synopsis clip.
  2. Write PROMPT.md fails closed if kind is hunt and artifact / must_not / first hunter action are empty.
  3. Lock hunt house still strips site/crm, and also sets kind=hunt on intake so the compiler cannot revert to shop.
  4. Link this page from the machine card: “Last house audit as intake.”

E. Job Hunt house — criteria this audit still owns

Not Take Lunch work this turn. Still the proof that intake+compiler are unfinished. Builder file: house AUDIT.md ## For the builder.

  1. Google HM/DM is a sentence with a verb, not another $7 million a year.
  2. Letter view: one filled 48px teal control = Copy packet. Rewrite is ghost or collapsed.
  3. 1280 Today: one dump door.
  4. content-audit fails the fragment and a Creativo lead in the Google 60-second.
  5. Jobs For you is Tulsa / A-list / watchlist, not Madrid remote sales. Have a URL dump adds BOK from the UI.
  6. First screen after clear storage is wizard or Load sent, not username+password, unless intake asked for auth.

F. Shop houses — so the fix does not hunt-wash Oak & Haul

  1. Kind=shop: Saturday test = named artifact (Paid ticket, book SMS, invoice). Unknown input = 12 Yale, not BOK.
  2. Want[] cannot add a map or invoice unless synopsis or must_not allows it.
  3. Voice bar is off unless they asked for outbound copy.
  4. Cream paper + chili remains the shop default when they gave no hex.

Law that does not move

Isolation stays (folder, GROK_HOME, fake data, no Hub leak). Wrapper ≠ spec. Copy, never send, unless they paid for send. Two prompts in one session is still the miss we do not repeat. An audit without a prompt refresh is unfinished on the house; this page is how Take Lunch learns from that audit instead of only the house.
